More About Me

Grew up on a dairy farm with Dutch parents who taught and instilled in me a love and respect for animals and taking pride in a good days work.  I enjoy being outdoors, camping, nature walks with the dogs, DIY projects at home. I would love to run a Pet Hotel or Animal Rescue. Married with 3 grown children, 2 spunky Jack Russell Terriers and a gentle Bernese Mountain Dog.   If time and hubby would allow I would have so many more.

Interesting fact: When we had our farm we were one of the few breeders in Ontario at the time of the Myotonic (Fainting) Goat.

In The Community

Past member of the Kawartha Kennel Club/Canadian Yorkshire Terrier Association and various farm associations,  currently a member of multiple online animal rescues groups.  Love to support our local humane society and have volunteered within my community serving food at various locations.
