New Business Producer

Full-Time, Permanent Position

We are seeking an experienced New Business Producer to join our busy Peterborough Office.

This position is all about providing exceptional customer service and sales. You are helping our potential clients understand their insurance needs and you’re doing it in a way that makes something seemingly confusing easier to understand. While working as part of our Sales Team, our expectation is that you take in-house inquiries new business, and solicit Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and Farm business through site visits, community events and referrals.

We are community minded and participate in or run many charitable events all year long, such as our charity golf tournament in the summer and Loonies on the Street in the winter. Outside of COVID, we have a social committee who plans events like Jays games, parties, ax throwing, wine tours, grilled cheese day, potlucks and educational classes like Pasta Making.

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes salary, commission, company paid benefits, and paid continuing education. We are closed on weekends because family is #1 and we know how important your time away from the office is.

The Details:

  • A RIBO license is essential. You also have your CAIB or CIP or you are willing to work towards achieving these designations
  • You have experience working with Farm and Commercial clients in an Insurance capacity and understand their unique needs, especially in the current climate
  • You are encouraged by sales goals and work to achieve responsibly set targets
  • Strong organizational and time management is essential for success
  • Experience with SIG and COM, and company portals would be an asset

  • You are a great co-worker, and you aren’t afraid of hard work
  • You have excellent communication skills with clients, co-workers and management
  • A positive attitude is required
